Inaugural community project award goes to Andamookians!
In 2007, the inaugural community project award was given to the Andamooka Progress and Opal Miners Association for their extraordinary work on the 29 kilometre water pipeline to Andamooka.
It was presented to the Association by the outgoing Governor of South Australia, Her Excellency, Marjorie Jackson-Nelson at the 2007 Volunteers Day concert.
