South Australian Government volunteer awards
A number of South Australian individuals and businesses are awarded some of the State’s most prestigious honours at the Volunteers Day celebration, which is hosted by the Minister for Volunteers on the Queen’s Birthday public holiday each year.
The free Volunteers Day concert attracts more than 2,000 volunteers across the State, and pays tribute to their valuable contribution to the wider community.
Honoured at the event for their outstanding and committed contribution to
volunteering are the winners of the Premier’s Business Award in Volunteering, the Joy Noble Medal and the community project award, The Andamooka.
