State Volunteer Congress 2009

“Thankyou very much. I thoroughly enjoy the Congress, and always get something of benefit from the input and make new connections ”

The 2009 State Volunteer Congress, the power of partnerships was held on Friday 4 December at the National Wine Centre in Adelaide, South Australia. The event featured a lively, informative program and was a great way to acknowledge International Volunteer Day on December 5.

Once again supported by the University of Adelaide, the event featured a special welcome address by our Minister for Volunteers, Hon Tom Koutsantonis MP.

Other highlights included strong informative addresses by the keynote speakers, a lively radio forum presented and broadcast by Radio Adelaide as well as interactive workshop sessions in the afternoon before the day was expertly wrapped up by MC, Nikki Marcell and Tony Piccolo, Member for Light,
