Volunteering in Local Government 'A Way For the Future'

The Local Government Community Managers Group have showed their spirit of collaborative communication, working together with a project steering group including representatives from the Office for Volunteers, Volunteering SA & NT, and councils from across the State to develop and publish a strategic management framework for volunteer engagement in Local Government, titled Volunteering in Local Government ‘A Way For The Future’.

This publication, launched by the Minister for Volunteers at this year’s State Volunteer Congress, is geared towards helping Local Government around South Australia manage, in a sustainable way, new and emerging trends and issues in volunteering.
